Description
Wherever you turn your head at the Louvre, inside or outside, there is always something to intrigue the senses. Whether it is the paintings, the statues, the carvings, the reliefs, the artifacts, the architecture, the ceilings, the windows, the doors, the foyers, the courtyards, you name it. If you are a photographer and enjoy a bit of art and history and architecture, this is the place to be. After spending 2 days and 3 nights at the Louvre, unfortunately the time has come to visit other places in Paris. Just as a side note, I went back to visit the Louvre in 2016 with a different photography mission and a different perspective. You will have to wait quite a bit for those images to be processed and posted.
This final image from my 2013 trip is shot as I was leaving one of the hallways walking into another.
All images are taken with a Canon 5D III (full frame) and a Canon 7D II (crop frame) using a variety of Canon L-Series lenses, and Tamron and Sigma pro-line lenses; processed in RAW with ACR, PSC, Photomatix, and a variety of other imaging software.
