Description

One of the things I like "being there" is the ability to visit (or in this case, hike) the same area under different lighting conditions. I was fortunate enough to stay overnight in a motel very close to Zion National Park, which essentially allowed me to hike various spots at different times of the day - early morning, late morning, early afternoon, late afternoon, and into the night time.

This is one of those images taken at the very early wee hours of the morning before the sun peeking up high in the sky.
