Artist's Description

The Cascais Marina, in Cascais, Portugal, is the largest marina on the Portuguese Riviera and the third largest marina in the country. It is located on the Bay of Cascais along the shore of the Citadel of Cascais. The marina plays host to numerous high profile sailing events nationally and internationally. The marina has 650 mooring stations able to receive vessels up to 36 meters in length.

This image shows the Palacio Seixas and surrounding properties immediately facing the beautiful harbour. The Seixas Palace is a characteristic 20th century building in an eclectic style. It was built on the remains of the 17th century Santa Catarina Fort and is a symbol of the city of Cascais.

All images are taken with a Canon 5D III (full frame) and a Canon 7D II (crop frame) using a variety of Canon L-Series lenses, and Tamron and Sigma pro-line lenses; processed in RAW with ACR, PSC, Photomatix, and a variety of other imaging software.
