Description
The following few images are shot at the solitary shoreline of one of the beaches on the famous Cabot Trail (along the Gulf of St. Lawrence and driving through the Cape Breton Highlands). For more info on the Cabot Trail please visit my previous images under this collection.
The Cabot Trail itself makes a 185-mile (about 300-kilometer) loop around a sizeable chunk of the island, passing through the Cape Breton Highlands National Park at its northernmost point. As you can see in this image and the following few, the shores are very impressive all around. The Cabot Trail also skirts the edges of the national park, at times clinging to steep ocean side cliffs.
All images are taken with a Canon 5D III (full frame) and a Canon 7D II (crop frame) using a variety of Canon L-Series lenses, and Tamron and Sigma pro-line lenses; processed in RAW with ACR, PSC, Photomatix, and a variety of other imaging software.
