Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

Well, she is better known as the Mona Lisa. Her real name is Lisa Gherardini, the wife of Francesco del Giocondo. Leonardo da Vinci painted this portrait of Ms. Gherardini for her husband Francesco del Giocondo sometime around 1503 to around 1506. Francesco was a silk merchant at the time. It started off as ￿Ma Donna￿ (similar to Ma Lady or Ma￿am, etc. in English). Over the years, ￿Ma Donna￿ became simply ￿Madonna￿, then contracted to just ￿mona￿.
